Poland: bigger demand for imported cucumbers

Last week the supply of Polish greenhouse cucumbers was still enough and the imported ones weren’t in big demand. However at the beginning of November the situation changed.

On Monday, November 2, the demand for imported cucumbers was already much higher.

The price of long cucumbers from Spain was 3.60 – 3.80 PLN (0.85-0.89 euro)/kg and the price of short ones – 4.00 PLN (0.94 euro)/kg.
