Poland: decrease in prices of butterhead lettuce

This week the purchase prices of butterhead lettuces much decreased. In surroundings of Nowy Sącz the purchase price decreased from 0.80 (0.19 euro) to 0.65 PLN (0.15 euro)/pcs.

In podlaskie provinces prices are lower by 0.05 PLN (0.01 euro) and are fluctuating from 0.65 (0.15 euro) to 0.80 PLN (0.19 euro)/pcs. Last year in corresponding period the average price of butterhead lettuce was about 0.90 PLN (0.21 euro)/pcs.
