Poland: high increase in prices of greenhouse cucumbers

At the end of last week prices of greenhouse cucumbers much increased. On the market one can observe the decreasing supply of these vegetables.

On Friday, July 10 prices of long cucumbers increased even to 2.00 PLN (0.46 euro)/kg. The highest price of short cucumbers was 2.60 PLN (0.59 euro)/kg. This situation won’t change quickly, because one have to wait until later planted cucumbers appear on the market.
