Poland: prices of cucumbers are going down again

A few cool nights in the mid of April caused slower vegetation of cucumbers and as a result stopped decreasing of their prices last week.

However at present the situation is coming back to the norm and on Monday, April 27 the prices both long as well as short cucumbers started decreasing again. On the wholesale market in Bronisze the price of Polish long cucumbers was from 2.75 to 3.00 PLN (0.61-0.66 euro)/kg, and the price of short cucumbers was from 3.30 to 3.60 PLN (0.73-0.79 euro)/kg.
