Poland: prices of greenhouse cucumbers

The period of high prices of greenhouse cucumbers (over 3.00 PLN (0.72 euro)/kg) caused by their low supply already passed. At the moment there is much more cucumbers and their prices are lower.

On Thursday, September 3, the price of long cucumbers was 1.60 – 2.00 PLN (0.39-0.48 euro)/kg and the price of short cucumbers was 2.00 – 2.50 PLN (0.48-0.60 euro)/kg for cucumbers packed into cartons. However the prices are still much higher than minimum price (about 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/kg), which were noted this summer.
