Poland: prices of tomatoes

Tomato prices much differ due to quality. The supply of tomatoes of good quality is low so their prices are high. On Thursday, October 29, the price of such tomatoes size BB was 16 - 17 PLN (3.76-4.00 euro)/carton 6 kg.

Price of good quality tomatoes size B was 14 PLN (4.29 euro)/carton 6 kg. The supply of tomatoes of poor quality is high and they are much cheaper but demand for them is not big.

Prices of such tomatoes was 8 - 10 PLN (1.88-2.35 euro) / box for size B and 10 – 13 PLN (2.35-3.06 euro)/box for size BB. Export of tomatoes is practically ended.
