Poland: purchase of blackcurrants already started

On Monday, June 29 some purchasing centers started buying blackcurrants. As it was expected the prices aren’t satisfied for growers – 1.60-1.80 PLN (0.35-0.40 euro)/kg.

However one can expect that the price of the blackcurrants will be growing because harvest forecast isn’t promising. Moreover one could already hear an information on bigger than last year demand from processing plants.
