Price of gooseberries

In 2007 production of gooseberries as well as most of berries fruit was profitable. In July 2007 purchase price in processing plants reached 0.74 EUR/kg.

Purchase price of gooseberries to be supplied fresh to the consumer was at level of 0.80 EUR/kg. This year at the wholesale market in Rzeszów prices of first deliveries of gooseberries ranged from 0.83 to 0.99 EUR for 2,5 kg basket. Producers expect high prices at the last year level.
