Prices of Gala

Gala is one of the most favourite apples varieties in Russia. However this season the purchase of Gala is at rather low level and the producer prices for these apples are unsatisfactory comparing to prices of other varieties. The main reason of such situation is low quality of this season’s Gala apples, which are affected by scab due to severe last spring rainfalls.

Currently the producer price of Gala from CA and ULO is 1.80-2.00 PLN (0.46-0.51 euro)/kg for size 60/65 and 2.20-2.50 PLN (0.56-0.64 euro)/kg for size 70 +.
