Prices of leeks

On the Polish market the prices of leeks imported from Turkey are similar to prices of domestic leeks. The supply of domestic leeks is rather low.

On Tuesday, 24 February the price of Polish leeks packed in bags was 4 PLN (0.85 euro)/kg in the central part of Poland. In the same area the price of Turkish leeks (also in bags) was 3.50 PLN (0.75 euro)/kg. The price of leeks imported from EU countries packed in boxes was about 6 PLN (1.28 euro)/kg.
