Prices of lettuces are rising

Last days price of Iceberg lettuces and curled-leaved lettuces increased. On Friday, August 1st price of Iceberg lettuce reached the price level of romaine lettuces i.e. 0.62 EUR/piece.

Price of curled-leaved lettuces increased to 0.47 EUR/piece. Price increase is caused by lower supply of lettuces as a result of unfavourable weather conditions. Upwards trend in prices will probably last a few days.
