Prices of onion still low

We have already informed that prices of onion started growing in areas where supply were low. However in most purchasing centres prices of onion are still low and e.g. in łódzkie province the prices of onion of the size 40+ for export are about 0.09 EUR/kg.

Onion of the size 50+ costs about 0.15 EUR/kg. In łódzkie province the prices are 5% lower than in the same period of the last year, in spite of the lower production of onion in our country. This is due to the lower demand of foreign buyers.
