Production of Polish apples

The average annual yield of apples in Poland amounts to 2-2.4 million ton, including 1.9-2.2 million ton in orchards producing apples for selling.

At average harvests of 2.3 million ton (in 2008 about 2.4 million t) about 1.2 million is intended for processing, 400-500 thousand ton is exported and 600 thousand ton is sold at domestic market as dessert apples.
