Profitable beetroots

Production costs calculation conducted by Horticultural Economics Department of IAFE-NRI (ZEO-IERiGŻ-PIB) shows that domestic production of beetroots was profitable in years 2004 – 2007. Index of production profitability (producer price / total cost of production x 100%) ranged from 107 % (2004) to 125 % (2007).
