Stable price of onion

It turned out that they are right those who did not believe in constant growth in prices of onion. For a long time prices of domestic and imported onion have been stable.

The price 1.60 - 1.80 PLN/kg depending on the region of Poland turned out the highest price for domestic onions. Prices of imported onions are very similar (up to 2 PLN / kg). However it seems that relatively high prices of onion encouraged many producers to increase the production area during coming season. It may resulted in higher supply of onion and in consequence lower price.
