Strawberries prices

Crops of strawberries is slowly completed in many regions of the country. The weather is still not favourable for strawberries. The lack of rain supports the price of good quality strawberries from irrigated plantations at level of 2,08 – 2,38 EUR/2 kg basket.

Additionally because of the drought more and more strawberries of lower quality are sold to processing plants. On Thursday, June 26th prices of strawberries for processing were about 0,39 EUR/kg of strawberries with stalk and 0,67 EUR/kg of strawberries without stalk and calyx.
