The end of purchase of red peppers for processing

Thanks to the warm weather the processing plants are still purchasing the red pepper (without stem and seeds).

Last year the purchase of the pepper ended about 20th October. In lubelskie province the purchase price of pepper delivered to the plants is 0.61 euro/kg and in pomorskie province 0.63 euro/kg. This year’s season was profitable for producers due to the warm autumn and stable demand for peppers for processing. The purchase prices were by about 0.08-0.09 euro/kg higher than last year.
