Tomatoes prices are increasing

The demand for tomatoes is growing again after clam period at the end of 2010. Prices are lower even by 10 PLN (2.26 euro)/box than the highest price in December. And it probably resulted in bigger movement on the market. On Monday, January 10, the price of Spanish tomatoes was 32-36 PLN (8.18-9.21 euro)/6 kg what means increase because last week their price was still at the level 28 PLN (7.16 euro)/box.
