Drought will influence crops of field cucumbers

Drought has been lasting for a few weeks particularly in central Poland. It will influence crops of cucumbers – their quantity and quality and in consequence prices.

Presently cucumbers growing under protection are mainly available on the market at prices ranged from 0.36 to 0.51 EUR/kg. In the second week of July bigger quantities of field cucumbers should appear on the market.
