End of Greek kiwi

Each year, April is a crucial month in generally stable trade. At the beginning of April kiwi from Greece is disappearing from the Polish market. Instead fruits from Italy are available. From the end of April till November importers buy kiwi from Chile. What's the difference between all fruits? Price! Producers from Southern Europe give a very high price for kiwi fruits.

Greek fruits were expensive this year (due to low crops and poor quality) PLN 60.00 - 70.00 / 10 kg. Italian ones beat records - PLN 70.00 - 75.00 / 10kg. At the turn of April and May we'll notice further changes. Chilean fruits will appear on the market. Prices of Chilean kiwifruits should be lower than of Italian ones.
