Interesting situation on the leek market

Last week, Dutch exporters offered leeks at the price of EUR 6.50 - 8.40 / kg. Of course, it influenced prices in Poland. Week ago leeks from Holland cost PLN 2.70 - 2.90 / kg. Now it's even PLN 3.90 / kg.

In Holland prices have stabilized and are at the same level as week ago. It means that also Polish market will be stable.

Hwoever current prices indicate change in supplu in the South of Europe. Leeks imported from France are aslo more expensive and cost PLN 3.60 - 3.80 / kg.

Prices of domestic leeks are stable. Currently purchase price is PLN 1.50 - 1.80 / kg and sale prices come to PLN 2.30 / kg.
