On the wholesale markets in Poland, the supply of plums is still quite high.

The season for trade in export plums is over. The same is true of industrial plums, although there are still companies looking for plums for processing at a price of 0,06 - 0,07 EUR per kilogram.

Export is a clear end, although fruit from CA conditions could be successfully traded until the end of November, but storing plums in control atmosphere  is still not a popular method. However, plums from a cold store are now only suitable for domestic trade, and this is what is happening.

Plums from domestic crops are available for sale on most wholesale markets  in Poland. Most of the plums traded are "Wiengierka" and the "President" varieties. This first variety, despite its rapidly decreasing quality, still enjoys considerable interest among buyers and for nice fruit you can get from 0,35 to 0,70 EUR per kilogram. In the case of the President the prices are similar and here buyers have to pay up to 0,81 EUR/kg for the most beautiful fruit.

Trade in plums in Poland continues in the best way and comparing the current situation with previous years, plums can be bought on the wholesale markets even until the end of November. Some fruit growers in previous years offered plums even in December.
