Prices of bananas in supermarkets are almost equal.

. In all analyzed chains bananas cost 4.99 PLN/ kg. Only Auchan retail chain has been offering those fruits at price 4.89 PLN/ kg. Last week supermarket Real introduced bananas is smaller size which were offered at 4.79 PLN/ kg.

Almost all retail chains sell bananas mainly from Ecuador or Colombia. The only supermarket offering bananas Chiquita is Lidl. What is interesting they cost exactly as much as bananas of less known brands in other stores.
