Poland: decrease in prices of mushrooms

The purchase prices of mushrooms intended for retail market decreased last week. The average purchase price of in the whole country is 4.10 PLN (0.90 euro)/kg, while week earlier it was about 4.30 PLN (0.95 euro)/kg.

The biggest decline in prices was in podkarpackie province – by 0.80 - 1.00 PLN (0.18-0.22 euro)/kg to 4.00 PLN (0.88 euro)/kg. In podlaskie and łódzkie provinces prices of mushrooms are stable at the level 4.50 PLN (0.99 euro)/kg. Comparing to last year the purchase prices of mushrooms are lower by about 7 %.
