Prices of industrial apples - some changes?

The harvest is coming to an end and in the orchards under the trees there is literally a carpet of apples. Some fruit growers do not decide to harvest the falls at current prices, but there are also those who sell them at any price. And the truth is that despite the noisy announced start of interventional  buying of industrial apples by the Eskimos company, orchards receive single-digit prices for these apples in most cases. Few pay a little more, while those companies that are on the "intervention buy-in" list have got water in their mouths and still do not answer calls.

At present, in Mazovia region the prices of ordinary industrial apples oscillate between 0,02 EUR and 0,03 EUR per kilogram and today most companies pay for fruit only 0,02 EUR/kg – 0,09 PLN. Double-digit prices (in PLN) are becoming less and less common. Similar prices are in force in Lodzki region. In the  Sandomierz area  prices range from 0,016EUR to 0,023 EUR/kg, similarly as in the Lublin region. Prices in Wielkopolska are at the level of 0,021- 0,023 EUR/kg.

In addition to industrial apples, some companies also buy dry industrial quality apples in really diversified quality and with specific requirements. Some buy Golden Delicious for juices at a price of 0.035 EUR/kg, Idared apples for juices or  puree are bought at 0.028EUR - 0.030 EUR per kilogram, and apples for juices from a mix of varieties at a price of 0.026 - 0.028 EUR/kg. Organic industrial apples can be disposed of at a price of about 0,080- 0,093 EUR per kilogram, and peeling apples (including Boscoopa) at a price of 0.046 - 0.093 EUR/kg.
