Price of bananas rises up

After a long period of stagnation, the price of bananas in the Polish market  has changed since the beginning of November . This is not some radical modifications but due to the upcoming holidays may be an upward trend for some time to maintain.

During the last weekprices  of Ecuadorian bananas "less well-known brands" gained an average of about 8 percent. and now for a small wholesale companies such as bananas Favorita and Bonita have to pay from 68.00 to 74.00 zł for 18 cardboard kg (3.78 - 4.11 zł / kg gross) depending on the manufacturer and the seller of bananas . Chiquita Bananas are sold in price from 78.00 to 84.00 zł for packing 18 kg (4.33 - 4.67 zł / kg gross).
