White cabbage still expensive

Participants of the market expected price drop of white cabbage after Easter. However deman from vegetables in Russia and Ukrainne is stil high and due to this prices remain stable.

On the Russian market they have even gone up. Currently wholesale price in Moscow comes to RUB 17.00 - 25.00 for good quality cabbage (PLN 1.44 - 2.12 / kg). In Kiev and Lviv prices have also raisen and now they are at the level of UAH 7.50 / kg (PLN 1.97 / kg, recently it has been PLN 2.25 / kg).

In Poland prices remain stable and are at the level of PLN 1.00 - 1.20 / kg. Cheaper cabbage is available in the southern Poland.
