Austria - less onion

Onion producers from all European countries can feel satisfied. Sale has started and prices have gone up. In Austria such trend started earlier than in other countries.

Sitauation on the Austrian market remains stable. Demand is high and is a reason of rising prices. What is more the demand is still increasing in EU and Eastern Europe as well. It should also influence further price rises.

Recently rices of refined and sorted onion have increased to the level of EUR 25.00 - 30.00 / 100 kg from EUR 23.00 - 25.00 / 100 kg. In analogous time year before it was EUR 20.00 - 23.00 / 100 kg.
